Q&A: Detect and retrieve inaccessible files from 4GB Micro SD Card

Q: I have importaint data on a 4GB micro SD card. But when I hookep it up to my Windows 8.1 computer, the card cannot be detected and the imortant files stored are inaccessible. The card is always in my HTC One (M9) but just a few days ago when I wanted to go through my Music, my phone said 'Please Insert SD Card'. I was fuming and tried my SD Card on every phone including my Laptop. Unfortunately, the Card was still not picking up. I really need access to my important files.

A: The first thing - Do not use Android phone when files are deleted from the phone. Because new data could overwrite the space of deleted files, which will make deleted files unrecoverable. Connecting phone microSD card to an computer. Then in Computer, check whether the smart phone shows as a drive letter (e.g. drive E: ). If it's not, take the memory card (SD Card, XD Card, MicroSD Card, CF Card, SDHC etc) from android mobile phone and then

connect the memory card to computer with a card reader, the phone card will be shown as a drive letter in Computer.
